Privacy.

japo collects no personal data. The app stores your practice — your sankalp, your streak, your mala count — only on your device. We do not have a server that knows you.
What we don't collect
We do not collect your name, your email, your phone number, your location, your contacts, your photos, your health data, your microphone audio, or any analytics about which mantras you choose or how long you sit. The only data that ever leaves your device is the App Store's standard purchase confirmation, which is handled by Apple and never reaches us.
What stays on your device
Your practice history — streaks, intentions, completed rounds, glyph and material preferences — is stored locally and synced via your private iCloud only if you have iCloud Drive enabled. It is encrypted by iOS in the same way your messages and photos are. We cannot read it. Apple cannot read it.
