By using japo, you agree to the terms below. They are short because the app does not do very much: it counts. The terms reflect that.

Your account

You do not have an account. There is no signup, no login, no password. Your practice is stored on your device. Anyone with physical access to your device has access to your practice — please secure your device.

Subscriptions and one-time purchases

japo is available on two subscription plans: Monthly at $1.99/month (3-day free trial) and Annual at $9.99/year (7-day free trial). Prices are in USD; Apple handles regional pricing in your local currency. Both plans auto-renew through Apple unless cancelled in your App Store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple per App Store policy.

Acceptable use

Use japo for your own practice. Do not attempt to reverse-engineer the application, redistribute it, or use it to send harassing communications to anyone (the app has no such functionality, but the prohibition stands).

Disclaimers

japo is a tool for personal practice. It is not a substitute for the guidance of a teacher, priest, granthi, imam, monk, or any other spiritual director. It is not a medical or mental health intervention. If you are in crisis, please reach out to a qualified professional.
